Payday Loan and Cash Advance Guide

The truth about payday lending and cash advances from an industry insider.

My name is Joe Hayes, I owned and operated a payday loan company in Georgia.  Due to the negative legislation that essentially made it impractical to offer payday loans in this state, I (as with many of my colleagues) am very well versed with the laws, rules and regulations of many states and the overall impact payday lending has had on the loan industry.

I intend to offer, to the best of my ability, insight into the payday loan industry from someone who has both a desire to run a profitable business as well as help others through difficult financial times. It’s a tough balancing act, but responsible lending as well as responsible borrowing would benefit everyone. I have written many opinion letters, interviewed with local news stations and earned the respect of both competitors and customers alike.

There is a void in several states where Payday loans are not legal, often due to the impact of negative ad campaigns ran by established small loan companies. I hope to show that payday lending is an asset to the community, a competitor in the loan industry, a viable solution to short term financial problems and provides a valuable service for those that need it.
